I have been busy creating new brush sets but did find a little time to put together a cute mini kit that I am hoping you enjoy as much as I enjoyed creating it..:)

This is a full size mini kit consisting of 28 elements, 6 frames and 10 papers.

Although I created it with Valentine's Day in mind, it is not limited only to Valentines. The beautiful soft colored elements can be used in a variety of creations.

I am working on a beautiful spring kit and have a beautiful summer kit coming out soon too!

I actually just dropped in to let you all know that I am around.... but I was hired to do a specific freelance project that has had me pulling my hair out the last few days..LOL...but I am almost done YAY!

I have worked on this project since last thursday and finally should have it finished today I think. So hopefully, I should have something new posted the next coming week sometime.

Free Christmas Kit

Well, it seems just like yesterday when I was writing last year about how fast I feel that the year go's by and that Christmas is here again....

Once more, here we are again, just 15 days until Christmas and another whole year has gone away...:)

But it has been a wonderful year, and I believe we all need to be greatful for having the blessed opportunity of being here one more year and having the pleasure of living one more beautiful Christmas season with our friends and family...:)

I will be on vacation starting today... until after New Years. This will be my last post on the freebie blog until January 3rd.

So, I want to wish you all beforehand a very Merry Christmas.

Wishing you lots of love and joy and many many blessings for you and your family.

Also wishing you all a New Year full of happiness and joy.

I have a few printable Christmas tag freebies for today!

Included in this set are:

Two 8 1/2" x 11" sheets (for easy printing) with 8 different tags on each sheet.

I also included the tags of one of the sheets in seperate jpeg files.

Print the sheet out on good quality card stock. Cut each tag out, fold it and that is it!

Birthday Brushes

Hello...!!

Hope you are all doing great today!

Well, since today is my Birthday I wanted to celebrate it all with you giving you a new beautiful Birthday brush set that contains over 30 Birthday theme brushes!

Although I worked most of the whole day on the computer, I had an excellent day. Sooo many friends have sent me Birthday Wishes and I have been receiving more and more through out the whole day.

I also had many surprises from my friends at Deviant Art and a great big chocolate cake that my daughter and sister bought for me today..yummy!

I received a very cute little gift from a friend on Deviant Art today that I wanted to show you all here too. This little image was soo cute that when I saw it, it gave me such a great big smile and melted my heart.

How To Install My Blog Templates

Well, I have had a few people having issues trying to install my new blog templates and many have sent me emails asking many questions so, I thought it may be easier that I write out a detailed tutorial on how to install these layouts.

I have included a variety of screenshots to make the process much easier to understand.

So here we go..!

First of all, if you do not have the Minima template installed on your blog, that is the first thing to do.

Please be advised that this is a one column template, so if you happen to have a 3 column template installed on your blog, some of the widgets that you have may be lost. If you currently have only a one column template, then none of your widgets will be lost.

Now let's begin:

To set your template to Minima, log into your Blogger Dashboard and click on Design.

Click on any of the screenshots for a larger view.

After you click on Design, you should be in the page where it says '' Add and Arrange Elements ''.

At the top of this page, click on Edit HTML and you will be taken to a page that looks like the one below.

Scroll to the bottom and you will see '' Layout Templates (Launched 2006)'' Click and choose the Minima Template.

Now once your blog template is set to Minima, go back to Dashboard and click on New Post.

Most people usually will upload the background to an image hosting site such as Photobucket, but the image can be hosted right on blogger, and actually, I think it is much more convenient.

Upload the background image just as if you were to upload any other image to your new post by clicking on the image icon that is found on top of the post editor toolbar.

Once the image appears in the area of the new post, place your mouse over the image and the Image Editor menu will appear at the bottom.

Choose Original Size from the menu. Once the image is displayed in full size, right click on the image and choose Properties. You will get a pop up box where you will see a link of the image.

Copy the link to the clipboard.

You can now close the new post, you will not need it any longer. We only used it to get the URL of the image.

Now using the code below, just add the image URL you just copied to the space where it says add URL HERE.

Once you have your URL in the code, copy the entire code to clipboard.

Go to Dashboard and click on Design. Click on Edit HTML.

Once you are in the HTML Editor, Scroll just a bit down until you see where it says Background.

You will see something like this.

background:$bgcolor;

Delete the code above and paste the entire new code in the exact same place.

It should look just as in the screenshot below.

Now before we save the template, we are going to change another pàrt of the code so that you will get no border around your header.

Right from where you are in the HTML Editor, scroll even a bit further down until you see Header.

See my screenshot and you will see the red arrow pointing to two areas where it says 0px. In your template both areas will say 1px.

Mine say 0px because I already have it changed. So change the 1 for a 0 in both places just as seen in my screenshot.

Click save Template

You should now see your new background placed on the blog and no border around the header area.

To install the Header it is much more simple.

Just go back to Dashboard and click on Design.

Once you are in the Add and Arrange Page Elements area you will see the header area and a small edit button just below.

Click on the Edit button and browse to the folder where you saved the header and click upload.

You will also see 3 options there that will say:

Behind Title and Discription

Instead of Title and Discription

Place Discription After Image

Make sure you check mark the option '' Instead of Title and Discription''.

Save and you will now see your new header in place.

To install the footer and the Link Tag, you will use Picture Gadgets.

To install the footer go back to Dashboard and click on Design.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see where it says Add Gadget.

Click on Add Gadget and choose the Picture Gadget. Browse to where you saved the footer image and upload it.

Now, do just the same for the Link Tag. Just that this time, you will use the Add Gadget from the side bar.

Now that you have everything installed, just click on Save.

You may also want to change the color of the text of your blog to match with your new layout.

To do this, go back to Blogger Dashboard click on Design and then click on Template Designer.

Once you are in the Template Designer area, click on the Advanced Tab as seen in the screenshot below.

You will be taken to an area where you will have the options of changing all the text color on your blog...:)

I myself printed these cards out on good quality card stock and they printed out quite beatifully.

One of the cards fronts have two photo inserts as seen below.

Well it seems that time just fly's so fast...!!

It has been one year since I opened this blog last September and I can not tell you just how pleased I am...:)

I want to thank all my followers who have been with me through the year and all the wonderful people who have purchased a membership or my commercial license. It has been a whole year of pleasure learning, creating and sharing with you all.

In this particular premade layout I added a frame of my choice and added a couple of flower embellishments that are aslo included in this software.

The word art you see on the top of this layout is also included in this Software, and there are many more to choose from.

Below is another template also included. Added the date and frame of my choice and that was it!! The Holiday word art is also included.

Here is another simple Layout I created using my own background. I did not add any photos to this layout but they could have easily been added to the back of the frames. What I wanted to show you is the neat curved text option also available.

You can achieve this curved text effect in just one easy click.

I have taken a couple of screenshots to give you an idea of the easy to use interface of the Software.

As you can see on the right is the Control Panel. This is where you will see a variety of tabs such as Background Papers, Text, Shapes, Video and Multimedia, Word Art Designer and so much more.

Well I sure hope someone enjoyed the wedding layouts. Don't know why but the comment section on my blog has been a little wacky lately. Sometimes not even I can post comments...

I also noted a few days ago that everytime I clicked on any of the links I would get some very irritating pop up ads. I just found out why. I was using the Geovisite Globe counter and just realized that they were adding pop up ads to my blog. I took the Geoglobe off and no more pop ups...If you happen to have the Geovisite counter on your blog and you notice some strange pop up ads then you know where it is coming from.....:)

Anyway's I have a new page kit that I hope you like. This is just a mini page kit that includes 2 papers and a few elements for you to create a quick page layout. I also inlcuded a finished layout for you to inspire on..:)
